On 9 December 2009, the Toll Operations & Public Relations Department held dialogue session with the Toll Tellers. Such sessions is essential because of the considerable distance between the Motorway Control Centre and the Toll Supervision Building. The only communications are via telephone, email and mails, therefore, session attended by both Toll Tellers and Supervisors is needed in order to promote more effective communication between staff and management. Encik Zulkarnain Zainudin served as Chairman while on the management sides were SMART General Manager Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin, Toll Operations & Public Relations Manager, Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali and Assistant Manager Human Resource, Puan Norzanawati Kasa. The dialogue session was also a perfect opportunity for the presentation of the "Toll Teller of the month" awards. The recipients were Puan Hafiza Said (Mar-May), Cik Zarina Adnan (May-July), and Cik Siti Hajar Abdullah (July-Sept). These awards encourage and motivate the Toll Tellers to work harder and to be more courteous, loyal and trustworthy.
